Nagyezsda Malmer MD

I have started my medical practice in Russia in 1993 after graduating there. Then, in 2001, after moving to Hungary I have made my degree naturalized at the University of Pécs Medical School, thus, I was able to use the knowledge acquired in Russia in my professional practice in Hungary.

From 2001 to 2007 I worked at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Siklós Hospital up till its closing. Meanwhile, I have acquired certification in obstetrics and gynaecology and also ultrasound diagnostics certification built on the previous one.

In 2007 a new chapter began in my career. I have started working in the Medical Spa Hospital of Harkány in the praxis of balneo-gynaecology based on medicinal and physiotherapy methods within the domain of conservative gynaecology. In 2010, after acquiring the certification, I began working as musculoskeletal rehabilitation specialist, thus complementing to the highly qualified medical staff of the hospital.

In the course of my academic studies, traditional Chinese medicine and the acupuncture also attracted me, so I started extensive study and practice of it during these years. For the purpose of gaining further knowledge in the discipline, I completed the four-semester course on Chinese medicine accredited by the University of Pécs Complementary and Alternative Medicine Department.

For me, modern medicine, natural treatments such as medicinal water of Harkány and alternative methods all get along well together in the art of healing.

My priority area of interest is infertility, chronic gynaecology and musculoskeletal diseases, pain syndromes and cosmetic acupuncture.

I find myself lucky, because for our patients concerning medicine a holistic approach is applied, an integrative medicine aimed to restore physical and mental natural equilibrium. It is a combined therapy with various rehabilitation, natural treatment, and balneotherapy methods.

Since 2005 I provide medical service in private practice in gynaecology and acupuncture.

Being a woman and a mother, I feel emphatic towards the complaints of my patients, the physical and mental changes and I urge to help, find a solution applying various healing methods on the highest professional standard.
